Version 1864 was commited by wanmil on 2011-02-27 12:35:11 +0000 (Sun, 27 Feb 2011) Fix polygon splitting Some polygons were not closed any more after splitting them due to an inappropriate usage of the PathIterator class. All conversion stuff mkgmap objects <=> Java2D objects are now placed in the Java2DConverter class. The background polygon is closed now.

To give a hint which ways are used the start and the mid point are now logged.

Hello Current default map style in mkgmap does not depict barriers. Is there a reason for that or it was simply not added to "lines" file yet? barrier=wall [0x00 resolution 20] barrier=fence [0x00 resolution 20] Thank you -- Tomas Straupis

Just found out that this fine typ editor finally has been translated into English, it can be downloaded at http://opheliat.free.fr/michel40/TYPViewer3.5 They also improved the installation (previous versions of setup.exe didn't work on my windows vista pc). If there are problems with the sea multipolygon logging is supplied with two coordinates (start and mid/end point) of the ways so that it is possible to investigate the problem. WanMil

Tile Border Artifact with --generate-sea

I have just noticed 'thin blue line' (I estimate about 1 pixel wide) along every tile edge )or border). This is more obvious when I 'zoom out' and it highlights my tiles because there is this blue sea-coloured border around them. I am using the Geofabrik GB OSM download and my relevant compile line is: --generate-sea:no-mp, extend-sea-sectors, close-gaps=10000. Currently using mkgmap version 1827 Has this been seen before and Is there a setting for me to avoid this?.

mkgmap and values with semicolon in it

Hi, I haven't found anything about this beside a very old mail, that mkgmap does not support it. There are several entries with key=value1;value2, means there are several values with a semicolon seperated. All this entries are missing in my created map, so I assume that this still does not work? Or should it be? One of my rules for example is: amenity=vending_machine & (vending=parcel_pickup | vending=parcel_mail_in) .. The entries with: amenity=vending_machine vending=parcel_pickup or amenity=vending_machine vending=parcel_mail_in are rendered, but all points with: amenity=vending_machine vending=parcel_pickup;parcel_mail_in are not. Can mkgmap really not handle that? Is there any workaround?
