Version 2206 was commited by wanmil on 2012-02-12 20:39:12 +0000 (Sun, 12 Feb 2012) Detect and correct polygons direction change due to int precision in Java2DConverter Polygons are often converted to the java.awt.geom.Area class to cut them. This Area class uses float precision which must be converted back to Garmins int precision. Sometimes this causes a polygon to change its direction (cw <=> ccw). This is now avoided by reversing the polygon if the float precision polygon has a different direction than the int precision polygon. This fixes some problems with the precompiled boundary utils. --GerdP

Errormessage in ElementQuadTreeNode

Hello everyone, i am new to the list but have used mkgmap & Co. to build my own maps since over a year now and am very pleased about the now working address search index. With the latest mkgmap release (2207) i get an error message but the gmapsupp is build correctly as far as i can see. The message is as follows: SCHWERWIEGEND (ElementQuadTreeNode): 66923142.osm.pbf: Do not split more due to too small bounds: (47.46471405029297,7.468128204345703) to (47.46488571166992,7. 468235492706299) I don't know if this message is just a warning or if something has gone terribly wrong. Overriding single line from default style

Hi, Is it possible to override the default style for just a single rule? I don't want to have to always extract the default style and the change. Precompiled boundary files in one zip file

Hi WanMil, I am still busy rewriting all the boundary code to allow reading bnd data from zip. Most of it is done, and I also found a few errors contained in my patch boundary_prep_quadtree_v2.patch I have now a version that can read old bnd format, new quadtree bnd file format, both from zip or normal directory, and its BoundaryQuadtree delivers the same results as the version in the performance branch. I did not see a big difference between reading from zip or directory, I think that is okay. I did not see any multi-threading problems while reading from zip, so I did not code anything special for this. You mentioned such problems, did you mean updating zip files? I don't think that we need a routine to write / create zip files, do we? I think we need a utility similar to BoundaryMerger to allow creating the bnd files for planet in multiple steps, so that's what I am working on now. Hi, I am looking for three villages but i can't find them with the "Address" Function. Hello, on my Garmin nüvi 200 address search works fine for towns and cities. But I can't find place=village and place=hamlet. Is it possible on other devices? Thanks, Andre
