I am going a bit through the wiki and try to update pages and remove stuff that might irritate. The page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mkgmap/help/Tags is a first try to document the tags that are used by mkgmap and that are created by mkgmap and can be used within the style system. The page is incomplete and at a first glance it is not easy understandable. At least a short introduction is missing. Is anybody there who wants to start a rework of this page? Thanks! WanMil

Bug in add-pois-to-lines

Hi I was sent a bug report about a NullPointerException which it was later determined only occurred when --add-pois-to-lines was used. I managed to reproduce this and have the attached patch as a possible solution, but wondering if anyone else has seen such a problem. The problem way I found was 151882750. Although this has two nodes in OSM and in my tile source, it only has one node when it gets to addPOItoLine(). One of the nodes is outside the tile boundary, but I would have expected a node to be created exactly on the boundary. Anyway the attached patch fixes the proximate problem, and I will apply it if no one has any insight into any deeper cause. ..Steve

How to change fastutil.jar ?

Hi Steve, I may have the need to add some of the fastutil long class, eg. Long2ObjectOpenHashMap to the fastutil.jar for splitter. What would be the best way to do that? I mean, I know how to update my local copy, but what about the ivy scripts and svn etc? Remove createbounds option?

In the discussion about cleaning the options list there was the idea to remove the createdbounds option and put that to a separate program. The program already exists so it's easy to realize that. I would print out an error message with the new program name to be called instead if the option is set. And the documentation should also be adapted. Shall I remove the option? WanMil

Hi, after the keep-complete option is successfully implemented in splitter I think the wiki page containing the problematic polygons is obsolete? To those who created it: Please remove it and its links so that it doesn't become and outdated info. Thanks! WanMil
