I've just built my first map with this new (and very expected) feature and playing with it. First to say is a big thank to Steve and all testers. I want to report some issues I find. 1- In the City tab I can search for my city, Cáceres, but if I try in the Address tab MapSource complains when typing á and doesn't find anything. 2- Under State/Province I can see a lot of places that aren't either states or provinces. I'm afraid it's wrong osm data, but I would like to know where (osm tag) those names come from. 3- In Spain most streets are tagged in the form "Street name", so you have to type always street, avenue or whatever before the name in all searches. Is that the expected behaviour? Is there any workaround? Cheers, Carlos

The value of LEVEL (which defaults to 1 if this option is not specified) determines those roads to report: 0 = none, 1 = multiple oneway roads that join together but go nowhere, 2 = individual oneway roads that go nowhere.

good morning, I played with the new mdr index option. It worked well when building a map with only one tile from my germany tiles set. But when building the full map with 35 tiles there was an overflow in the mdr file. Is this a know problem ? And how must the mdr files be installed in mapsource in order to use the search box of mapsource? Thanks Chris

Possible splitter bug

Hi, I am processing a contours file that is 95MB in Gzipped format. Splitter: Possible bug: not escaping '>' with '>'

Hi, Possible bug in the splitter, the '>' character is not escaped in output, i.e.: <way id='30408924'> Original tag: <tag k="name" v="Zakynthos <> Kyllini"/> Splitter output: <tag k='name' v='Zakynthos <> Kyllini'/> This does not break mkgmap, but breaks my poorly written parser... And is not according to XML specs, i.e. should be escaped with '>' Thanks, Ivan
