In splitter:
- use a small overlap (~150m) to make sure that house numbers near tile
boundaries
are complete

Hi Arndt, a few minutes ago I've committed r3507 to fix this problem. The message is only meaningful for me, and with r3507 it is suppressed when the reason is that a group was created. Besides that the problem with Röhnstraße is that it is sometimes written "Röhnstraße" and sometimes "Röhnstrasse" (with ss) Maybe we should add some rules in the default style to correct these on the fly. In the past there was a bot fixing this issues in the OSM database. Either the street is near a border, so that the bot is not sure if it is in germany, or it is currently not running anymore. Hi Thorsten, maybe I was wrong. The address Rhönstraße 27, Bochum exists twice, and maybe mkgmap selects the wrong one. In my test environment the name is logged with "ss" and JOSM finds Röhnstraße also when I search for Röhnstrasse, so I think the bot probably still works. Gerd Thorsten Kukuk wrote
