Hi,
Carlos is right for the default style. If you use a very different style, make sure that mkgmap:country contains the 3 letter iso code for the country. See also the file LocatorConfig.xml. I'll try to make that clearer in the coments in roadNameConfig.txt.

Section 2 is used by mkgmap to know what language(s) is spoken in each country. You don't have to tell mkgmap what language, but what country.
