Minor improvement in splitter

I have noticed that Splitter places a single \n between the mapname and description in template.args, bur \r\n in most other places. In some Windows editors, this makes the layout inconsistent: > mapname: 60555001description: GB-Carlisle > input-file: 60555001.osm.pbf This doesn't matter, but it might be nice if (next time somebody is updating) they were made consistent, preferably with \r, so that they all appear on separate lines. Splitter Options for small files

Is there (or could there be) an option in Splitter such that if it finds an input file which will be 'split' into only one tile, it will just copy and rename it without further processing? This has arisen because in processing a group of tiles of varying size (some but not all of which need splitting), I have been getting artefacts (gaps between tiles). These disappeared when the original small tiles, rather than the 'single split' tiles were used. Norway not buildable with the no-trim option

Duplicate IDs

A simple question ( I hope!): I have a number of pbf format files containing contour information derived from SRTM2OSM. Since they were downloaded separately, they appear to have duplicate node and way IDs. Will this matter to mkgmap if they are all listed together in template.args, or do they need to be compiled individually? Also, osmconvert reports 4 IDs in the wrong order in each file (exactly the same in each). Will this cause any problem? Hi, please review this piece of code: if(foundType.isRoad() && !MapObject.hasExtendedType(foundType.getType())) addRoad(way, foundType); else addLine(way, foundType); Is it intended that ways with extendedType are added as lines (and not roads) no matter what isRoad() returns? fuelling the brand

Hi, Recently more and more fuel stations are getting a 'brand' instead of 'operator' or 'name'.
