How does mkgmap process the addr: tags in POIs? For instance, take the following POI (http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/918409138) addr:city=Abu Dhabi addr:country=AE addr:housename=Fairmont Bab al Bahr phone:+971 2 654 3238 In Mapsource or on the GPS, the restaurant is given the address: Frankie's Fix My Address Abu Dhabi +971 2 654 3238 Whereas I would have expected it to say: Frankie's Fairmont Bab al Bahr Abu Dhabi AE +971 2 654 3238 Does mkgmap ignore addr:housename? What about addr:full and addr:housenumber...? Thanks, -- Charlie

I have encountered anothe compile problem using r1905 and pbf. If the kev/value arrays are enlarged in class Tags then the size field was not reverted to 0 before readding the tags to the enlarged arrays. Therefore the size field was too high.

junction=roundabout

I noticed all the roundabouts are now turned into oneways. Is this a change that is hardcoded recently in mkgmap? How to get rid of this, because there are bike path roundabouts which are twoway-bikelanes.

MapSource issue

Hi, I've downloaded the North Carolina OSM from Cloudmade and ran through mkgmap (tried all stable versions). I used the map successfully on my Garmin but when I uses the nsis image and installed on MapSource, MapSource fails to start with the following message: App: MapSource At: 4/19/2011 7:46:51 PM (UTC) OS: Windows 7 (64-bit) Service Pack 1 Processor: x86, Processor Level: 6, Processors:2, Model: 23 Stepping: 10, RAM: 4087836 TDB_REGIONDIR.CPP-103-6.16.3.0 Language ID: 1033 Part Number: 006-A0041-00 Build Type: Release Any thoughts on what may cause this? routing issues with multiple lines & address search

I've noticed that routing breaks if I search for an address, where the street consists of multiple lines in the style file. For instance a tertiary road plus a tunnel. Or a bike path with a cycle route. In those cases both lines were routable. In cases where I use overlay lines (with the continue statement) that are non routable, routing doesn't seem to break. On Mapsource or on the GPS it routes fine if you point to that road on the map. With the address search on the GPS however, the street is found but if i want to calculate a route, the device says either 'there are no routable streets' or the route makes very weird jumps to the tile end and bounces back to to the destination in a straight line. I think I can prevent this behaviour by using non-routable lines for overlays, but maybe some improvements can be made in the mkgmap code?
