In lines style file roundabouts & highway=X have the same road_speed than highway=X ways. Doesn't in make sense to reduce roundabout road_speed in some level in relation with the same category's ways, in the same way than X_link have a lower road_speed than respective highway=X ways? "avoid unpaved roads" and surface=unpaved

The Edge 705 sends me to surface=unpaved roads when I have selected "avoid unpaved roads" in the bicycle routing options. The only reference to "surface" or "pave" in the style files I could find is highway=unsurfaced in default/lines. Hasn't the "paved" flag been deciphered yet, or what gives? PS: For me, the route recalculation sensitivity hasn't changed for the worse after the patch was committed. Marko

Hi Steve, Sorry I broke the tests by adding Way(long). I wanted to make sure that all Ways had an id value. I don't know anything about building the tests, perhaps I should! Cheers, Mark

[PATCH] default style: make highway=path equivalent to footway and cycleway

Hi there! I don't see a real reason to handle highway=path in a different way than footway and cycleway. Especially, I think that highway=path & bicycle=designated shall be the same as highway=cycleway when it comes to routing. In addition, I adjusted the resolution for the path to the value of the footway and cycleway. So please apply the attached patch if this makes sense to you. -- Gernot
