Thanks, I forgot the transparent and draw-priority options. But even with them, the size is not changed for the combined file and I think there is a problem when I combine the contour and the osm maps. I will do other tests this weekend. FYI - Routing Oddities

I know that others including me are seeing this so I thought I'd share what I noticed today. I don't know if anyone else has noticed or reported this already so details are as follows:- Near where I work I get the symptoms described at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Mkgmap/routing#Wrong_route_calculat… when I try to route to just about anywhere. However my Edge 605 also gives text directions in the form of Turn left at Bloggs Street Keep left to roundabout Take 3rd exit at roundabout Turn right at Fred Street Even though the graphical map shows a pink line shooting off into the distance and then reappearing 50m down the road the text directions DO NOT mirror this and are correct from start to finish. [PATCH] Reworked road name pois now supports both OSM and PM files

Hi, I have moved the POI faking code out of the OSM loader into the level above so it should work with both OSM and PM source files. You no longer require the extra line in the points file. enable with the --road-name-pois option. By default, it uses Garmin type 0x640a for the pois. If you want to use a different type, specify it as the option value: --road-name-pois=0x1234 The patch is for SVN 859. All feedback appreciated. Cheers, Mark

I now have one .img file with the srtm data (343.1 mo) and one .img file wih the map of france (42.2 mo). But when I try to combine them with the --gmapsupp option, the size of the resulting file is only 358.9 mo and it doesn't display anything on my vista cx screnn while the 2 original maps (srtm and osm for france) display fine. Any idea ? I can share the files if needed. Thanks Frédéric

Checkout with TortoiseSVN not working

Hi, Checkout with Tortoise SVN doesn't work for me anymore since last Thursdy or Friday. I tried many things including deleting the checked folder, recreating it, updating TortoiseSVN to newest version.... See error log Screenshot attached. Do others have the same problem? Is it a problem with mkgmap SVN trunk or with Tortoise? Also updating the revisions doesn't work for me anymore because of this error. Felix
