Hi I checked it using echotags and it seems that mkgmap declares 'building' as Boolean. Unfortunately, this means it can't parse building=chapel which is an accepted osm tag. ie I have amenity=place_of_worship & building=chapel [0x2c0b resolution 16] this gets completely ignored. I reckon the same applies to building=garage . Perhaps we should just ignore such tags, including building=roof (!) Any ideas? -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/building-not-equalling-yes-tp5807020.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Hi, What do you mean with "is completely ignored" ? I've added your rule to the points file of the default style and it works as expected. Gerd nwillink wrote

Hi Gerd I'm using a modified version of the default style which shouldn't really make a difference but amenity=place_of_worship & building=chapel { echotags "chapel"} doesn't get any 'hits' whereas amenity=place_of_worship & building=* { echotags "chapel"} does . The building in question is : http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/223300290 -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/building-not-equalling-yes-tp5807020p5807028.... Hi, okay, this is a polygon, not a node. So, it is ignored in the points file if you don't use option --add-pois-to-areas. Gerd nwillink wrote

Many thanks, Gerd That explains it! Nick On 22/05/2014 13:05, GerdP [via GIS] wrote:
