Merging the exits branch?

Hi, I would like to merge the exits branch. It makes it possible to show the name of motorway exits on Garmin units. Up to now the exits are processed when the option process-destination is set and if you change a few rules in the style. Shall I add another option to en/disable it? If you don't have the rules in the style the only thing that is changed are two additional points in each exit. This might be visible due to the limited Garmin map resolution. One open point is that exits and motoway-junctions cannot be distinguished and therfore only exits from motorways are processed. At the moment I have no time to continue that. So I want to have your opinions: Merge it? Extra option for process-exits? WanMil

Hi WanMil it's fine to me to merge it. I think the option is needed because of the combination with destination processing and because motorway_junction nodes are sometimes used on interchanges and not only on exits. Again compliments for this great feature! Cheers, Johan 2013/1/19 WanMil <wmgcnfg@web.de>
