Warning when generating the index
Hello, I just though I would post this if it is useful for improving the index. Generating the index for maps of several US states I got the following warning message: WARNING: string pointer size is not 3, index will probably not work try with fewer maps until this is resolved. Despite this, the map and index work fine in MapSource, I was able to transfer them to my eTrex Vista and did not find any issue using them in the GPS so far. Thanks, N.

Somehow the recently committed r1297 sounds a lot like it would solve this problem: "Commit: r1297: Remove warning when 4 bytes are required for the string" Cheers.

OK thanks, as Clinton noted, I already took out the message as there seemed to be no problems going beyond the limit. Was a bit of a surprise as I've never seen an index that big with the regular string table before, so I was just guessing... ..Steve
