Hi Bernd, I'm happy with the way how it works, but feel free to post a patch. Look into ParamParser.displayUsage() Gerd Bernd Weigelt wrote

Sorry, i wrote ambiguous. Everything works fine, except there is a cosmetic problem with CR/LF. Every option is descripted in one long line. The output from mkgmap.jar --help=options has a maximum length of 78 characters. I don't know, how to create a working diff with changed CR/LF or CR. Hi Bernd, yes, the option handling of splitter and mkgmap are completely different, don't know why. What problem do you have with the diff? If you use e.g. java -jar splitter.jar --help > splitter.options you should get a normal text file. If you do that again with an older version of splitter and another output file you should be able to diff them. Gerd Bernd Weigelt wrote

Hi Bernd, I found a simple change. splitter r304 prints the help with lines of 78 chars when possible. Attached is the output on windows. Gerd help.txt <http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/file/n5758940/help.txt> Bernd Weigelt wrote
