Some user of my maps has reported that his unit doesn't read mkgmap maps. He asked Garmin service and they told device is blocked from fabric, so that it only accepts genuine Garmin maps. It seems to be a different problem than the unicode related one recently reported, as I don't use unicode. Do you know something about that limitation? Is there a way circumvent it?

Hi Carlos, which GPS, which map? For example marine devices don't support car maps, nuvis don't support marine maps, some marine devices require Garmin's copyright in map, some nuvis support only digitally signed maps and so on. -- Best regards, Andrzej
