The --remove-short-arcs option must go
Hi Does anyone know for sure that if you do not supply this option, you get routing problems? I'm either going to make it the default (with --route) or remove it by the end of the day as it has been annoying me for years! ..Steve
make it default. Otherwise very short sections, e.g. bridges with a intersection right behind it, will break! That's the case I remember. (don't want to dig it out from the archives). But without it, there will in very few cases be broken routing (and as shorter road parts, due to tagging get more often, then 2 years back when I discovered this glitch). OK understood. The short arcs need to be lengthened if they can't be removed without also removing important information. ..Steve
