So the outerpoylgons are only to be used, when there are no tags on the relation. If the relation itself is tagged and there is a tag on the outerpolygons, this does logical mean, that the outerpolygon tags apply to the complete area including the inner-area. There shouldn't be a list of concerned tags, since any area tags may be used. - WanMil

With the version 1710 always was fine.
Matteo, Relation 394583 is tagged with landuse = orchard trees = apple_trees type = multipolygon I cannot find any rules for these tags in the default style, so it should not work with 1710 either. Which style do you use? WanMil

I use a custom style, the relevant entry in "polygons" is landuse=orchard [0x4e resolution 18] (like landuse=farm). But with today's geofabrick dump ( http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/europe/italy.osm.pbf ) all work as expected. Now I'm looking at the history of the relation (I deleted the old dump), trying to spot the differences with the old dump to understand what goes wrong...
