Are there different default text sizes for different line types in the way that there are different text sizes for poi labels -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/Line-label-text-size-tp5825360.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Presumably you are referring to city POIs . In my experience all line & polygon types have the same default text size, but remember this is firmware dependant so this could depend on your device. Line text seem to be always left aligned unlike some pois Basecamp has (had?) an interesting feature that the default textsize/colour if set by one type in a TYP file also gets applied to pois which have no textsize specified. -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/Line-label-text-size-tp5825360p5825378.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

I am getting large text similar to the town size text on power lines and a national cycle route even when zoomed out before the lines are even drawn If I comment out the line #name=* { name '${name}' } in the finalize section the names disappear ( Basecamp with default style ) There are different sizes of text on different lines on my map which do not seem to be set in my type file. -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/Line-label-text-size-tp5825360p5825385.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
