Splitter failure with new precompiled sea

Hi Steve, I downloaded new precompiled bounds & sea from: http://osm.thkukuk.de/data/ Unfortunately, when I try to split my europe map, I got this error: c:\DATA\SHARED\OSM>perl script\genGarminMap.pl -s Detected OS: Windows Selected map is: ce (poly file C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\pbf\central_europe.poly) Split OSM -ce- Europe map. java -Xmx3072M -jar C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\splitter-r318\splitter.jar --status- freq= 60 --output-dir=C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\osmSplit --keep-complete --overlap=0 -- bounda ry-tags=use-exclude-list --polygon-file=C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\pbf\central_europe. po ly --precomp-sea=C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\osmData\sea_20140306.zip --max-areas=3072 -- max-nodes=1200000 --geonames-file=C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\osmData\cities5000.zip -- ou tput=o5m C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\pbf\europe.ce.o5m Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException at uk.me.parabola.splitter.PrecompSeaReader.getPrecompKeyNames (PrecompSe aReader.java:306) at uk.me.parabola.splitter.PrecompSeaReader.processMap (PrecompSeaReader. java:77) at uk.me.parabola.splitter.Main.calculateAreas(Main.java:515) at uk.me.parabola.splitter.Main.split(Main.java:234) at uk.me.parabola.splitter.Main.start(Main.java:165) at uk.me.parabola.splitter.Main.main(Main.java:149) C:\DATA\SHARED\OSM\splitter-r318\splitter.jar: at script\genGarminMap.pl line 2 67. I'm using splitter version 318. It seems there is some problem with precomp sea file management. Thanks, Giacomo.

Hi, as a workaround, I unzipped precompiled sea file and zipped it again, avoiding to use 'sea' directory inside zipped file. This time splitter completed successfully. Giacomo.

Hi Giacomo, thanks for reporting. splitter r319 should be able to read the file provided by Thorsten. Gerd Jack Ughetta wrote
