Another weird behavior. Some pois are not properly routed from the road. I've checked the data and it seems to be valid. I am thinking that this is probably because the POI is too far from the road. But it doesn't necessaryly follow. The bookstore and jollibee is closer to the dashed line (is that a footway?) than the road. If you connect the footway to the road it should work. I've had problems like this when a POI is surrounded by jogging track that is not connected to any road. - nyem maning sambale wrote:

All POIs are not connected to the road. I'm guessing it is because some POIs are too far from the road, but from the image you can see that one POI is routed properly even if it is farther from the road relative to jollibee and bookstore.

Your POIs and roads are fine. It's the dashed line interfering with route calculation. Remove it and see what happen.

No can do nyem. It is what's on the ground, the dash-line is a footbridge across the highway. On Mon, Jun 22, 2009 at 1:18 PM, nyem<nyem69@gmail.com> wrote:

I've noticed this situation on some landmarks in my area that are defined as areas instead of a single POI. I wonder if this could be fixed if mkgmap created a node at the center of such area landmarks for purposes of not deadlocking a nüvi's routing engine.
