1. How can I add a search index information in GMAPSUPP.IMG with option "--gmapsupp" (idx section)? 2. How can I change Mapset name to my custom? Now it is taken from the name of the last tile. ----- http://maptourist.org/ -- View this message in context: http://gis.638310.n2.nabble.com/2-question-about-gmapsupp-tp6988221p6988221.... Ok, I'm less experienced than many other users around here, but I'll give it a try anyway (to be corrected if necessary): 1. IMHO this is not yet possible directly. You would have to generate the mapset with --index, load the it into Mapsource (would Basecamp work, too? I haven't used that one so I don't know) and sent it to your device from there to get a gmapsupp.img with working search index. 2. I'm not sure, have you tried to set family-name or series-name to something else? Or is it the name /number of the overview map you are trying to set? -- View this message in context: http://gis.638310.n2.nabble.com/2-question-about-gmapsupp-tp6988221p7024172.... @ 2: I found a message from someone who reported the same issue, but more detailed: http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/pipermail/mkgmap-dev/2011q4/012447.html No hints how to fix it there, though. -- View this message in context: http://gis.638310.n2.nabble.com/2-question-about-gmapsupp-tp6988221p7024275.... The gmapsupp file is made after all the other files are processed and so the options that are in effect when it is built are the ones that were set last. Thats why it picks up the name from the last file if you do everything in one step. To set options specifically for the gmapsupp, then all you have to do is place them right at the end of the command line, after any other file name, or last in a command file. ..Steve
