OT: tool to split gpx file ?
Hi all, does anybody know a simple tool to split a gpx track file with e.g. 50.000 points into pieces of 2000 points, giving each one a name like xyz-part-001.gpx, xyz-part-002.gpx etc? Or is there another way to avoid long load times when using such a large gpx track on the Oregon 600 ? Gerd
Hi Minko, thanks, the tool seems to remove the name from the gpx file. Besides that it works fine. I'll ask the author if that can be changed. Hi all, the program source is probably no longer maintained, but I was able to compile and change the main sources so that it add's the name to each part. If anybody is interested I can post a patch. Gerd GerdP wrote
