i'm trying to use the --make-all-cycleways option in my maps and just can't make sense of the access tags this option sets to highways. the original highway gets bycicle=no, which makes sense. the new "virtual" cycleway gets access=no. is that a bug or can i just not figure out what it's good for? micha

Hi, it's a known issue that this option leads to routing errors and should be avoided. Chris

Hi, it's a known issue that this option leads to routing errors and should be avoided. Maybe someone could add this to help=options-file. I also thought, that should be avoided, but there wasn't any hint in the help.
All make-cycleway options can be replaced with style-rules and continue. Henning

actually, this option should have long been removed. It's much better and more controllable, via style-file.... (this option was only needed before "continue" and "continue_with_actions" existed. On 12.07.2012 10:24, aighes wrote:
