Version 1006 produces files with smaller size but it seems something is broken for route calculation. I tried it with Ireland OSM map Mapsource aborts most of the time. Version 1001 works very well.

I've changed the filter so that it does not touch the highest resolution level that is used for routing. Routing now seems to work well again. It assumes that the highest level is 24, but we should make it work with any value. ..Steve
