Bounds and Sea Data on mkgmap.org.uk -- still old creation process.
Just a question - is it planned to change the bounds and sea data that is available via mkgmap.org.uk to be update to the high precision format? or maybe put a link to Thorstens site if not? http://osm.thkukuk.de/data/ -- keep on biking and discovering new trails Felix openmtbmap.org & www.velomap.org

Well I don't know actually - I would have assumed r3081 or later is fine. However the data by Thorsten is significantly bigger size than the one on mkgmap.org.uk - hence I assumed here the used version is still older? On 30.04.2014 21:58, Lambertus wrote:

I don't use any special options, and I don't where Felix sees that my data is bigger then yours. The bounds files are 1.3GB for both versions (Ok, my ones are slightly lager by some MB, but they are also 3 weeks newer). Ok, the sea data from Lambertus is only 143MB and my one is 174MB. but again, there are three weeks between them and I know a month ago or so my sea data had about the same size. I guess the different size has more to do with changes in the OSM database then anything else. Thorsten
