Hi Chris, it is not yet accessible but it would be possible to create a new function get_id(). The problem with this function is that mkgmap sometimes copies and changes osm elements which also means that they get a new id and so this function does not returns the expected result. WanMil

I would like to skip this mp from my germany map; it is probably broken in de Geofabrik Germany abstract, so it will be flooded in my map: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/relation/1685222 Any ideas how this can be done? Maybe with osmfilter before I split germany.osm.pbf file?

Yes, this mp is incomplete. Last week I have asked geofabrik if it's possible to make sure, that all mps are complete within an extract. Currently I haven't got an answer. I have got an answer from geofabrik concerning the incomplete relations in their extracts. The tool geofabrik uses ("history splitter") does currently not makes sure, that a relation is always cut out complete.
