So I tried other bboxes, and found this one: 29000002: 2291022,918105 to 2297489,946049
I have compiled this tile and found no difference, it looks the same as my tiles. DEM heights are the same. I have prepared dummy HGT with checkerboard patter. It makes quite easy to verify, if DEM is aligned correctly.
