Thanks so much, will try now! Also, i did a lot of improvements to the styles specifically for Argentina and Chile, i might do a pull request/commit if there is any interest to include them on the styles. Not sure if you guys are interested in country specific style improvements. Just let me know! // Diego

Hi Diego,
I think --x-split-name-index is the option you are looking for.

Hello there, i have just started to use mkgmap a few days ago and managed to do everything i wanted without issues. However, i have a question that i can not find already answered anywhere: The fact that address search only works (on a garmin device) when the search string starts with the exact same characters of the matches is a limitation on the Garmin OS, on mkgmap, or am i doing something wrong ?
For example, if the street name is “Manuel Belgrano”, and i search for “belgrano”, i will never get a match, however, if i search for “manuel”, i will get a match. Same happens for cities.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks. // Diego _______________________________________________ mkgmap-dev mailing list mkgmap-dev@lists.mkgmap.org.uk http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/mkgmap-dev _______________________________________________ mkgmap-dev mailing list mkgmap-dev@lists.mkgmap.org.uk http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/mkgmap-dev
