Questions: 1) I think the support for the "map feature file" is really obsolete now. Would it be ok to remove the corresponding program code?
not sure if people still use it but I agree it is very old ;-)
2) Is the part "Watch out with levels when building topographical maps " still correct? I think most users are merging the SRTM data with the OSM data first.

I still use in some maps two map layers for contours or hiking / cycling routes. But I don't understand the help text with dummy pois at all.
