Hi all,

I started to rewrite the  MapSplitter class so that it produces
smaller overlaps. This should improve the redraw speed in the
GPS devices because fewer sub divisions have to be rendered.

Now I wonder what threshold values to use and if there is
an existing tool that allows to display the overlaps.

Any ideas?
