Which can explain the problems I encountered before as I was playing with a small map to have mkgmap run very fast. I will try with a bigger map then.

I confirm it:

If I work with a map of the whole state of Michigan, upload works fine.
If I work with a smaller map (Detroit area), upload fails and MapSource crashes whenever I try to input a city in the search panels.
