Hi Arndt,
the goal of the recent changes is to separate reporting of issues and automatic fixing of them. To be honest, I am also not sure what --check-roundabouts does. I know that it might change the direction of roundabouts in the map, maybe it can do more.

Hi Gerd,
thank you!
I have never really noticed the section "Diagnostic options". I use some options because they exist, without understanding their meaning :)
This options produces messenges so that i can do something in OSM, but they don´t change anything at the result of the map?

Hi Arndt,
thanks for reporting. The messages are produced by the code for the --check-roundabouts option, they are not related to the --check-routing-island option.
1. The OSM data is probably wrong and should be fixed.2. I think we need another patch for mkgmap to distinguish between reporting and fixing roundabouts. The current code implements a mixture of both.

Hi @all
r4649 reports many messenges.I used check-routing-island-len=700. This is now obsolete. I change it toreport-routing-islands=falsemax-routing-island-len=700What can i do, to solve the root cause of the messenges? Or supress the messengenges?
