[mkgmap-dev] disabling / removing the basemap on Garmin Etrex Vista

Hi, I'm just wondering if it's possible to disable or remove the basemap on the Garmin Etrex Vista? I'm seeing Exits from the US while I'm in Costa Rica. I guess this is the same problem that Mark is having. Thanks, Ben
