Odd - I have the same rule, but the only things that show up in the "Bar/Nightclub" category are tagged amenity=biergarten (0x2d02). The icon for those is the same as for 0x4600, so perhaps I should use 0x2d02 for pubs?
I just noticed this discrepancy myself: the Pubs marked as 0x4600 appear under Bar/Nightclub in Mapsource, but not in my eTrex. It looks like 0x2d02 is a better choice, as Pubs and Biergarten both show up in the eTrex. I have adjusted my style file accordingly.
