FWIW, this was the case when --index was not implemented. Garmin Edge 705 would even find nearby streets. But only nearby ones. I tested by looking for Kisatie, which exists all over Finland. Only the nearby matches were found.
i just tried with r2479, and it still doesn't seem to work. anybody with a hint on what i'm doing wrong ?
