Hi Stephen, look at the default style file inc/address, it is contained in the dist package. You can also watch it in the SVN repository: http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/websvn/filedetails.php?repname=mkgmap&path=%2Ftrunk... It doesn't contain any specific rules for Australia. If you think it should please suggest changes.
