I would also like to add my compliments to the remarkable progress mkgmap has shown in the last week. I have been testing in southern Germany, with recent SVN versions of the NOD branch: routing has been quite reliable. With the latest roundabout patches, even the correct exit is displayed by my unit (tested on a eTrex Vista HCx).

Thanks, please report any bad routing or other oddities. My next goal is to implement turn restrictions as they really need to be in place for routing to be trustworthy.

Since my area is very densely mapped, I'm desperately looking forward to the across-tile routing. :-)

A trial patch has been posted but no-one has yet reported back on how it performs. Cheers, Mark
