Should pubs turn up in the "Food and Drink" section of my eTrex's search menu? I get a nice icon, but no searchability - and I find that pubs are often destinations (because it's a common meeting place, not just^W because I'm a secret alcoholic!)
... and I thought that it was just me. I changed the mapping from: point|amenity|pub|0x46|0x00|20 to: point|amenity|pub|0x2a|0x11|20 (which is "British Restaurant") in map_features.csv to get a unique category for them under "food and drink". This is with an old version of mkgmap though; there's probably a different (easier) way with the current version.
