sorry, I can't follow.
Latest mkgmap on http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/download/mkgmap.html is now r2586, it contains the merge-lines patch and merge-lines is enabled by default.
What kind of error do you mean? I guess it reports
Non-routable way with routable type ... starting at ... is used for a routable map. This leads to routing errors. Try --check-styles to check the style.
That means that your style assigns invalid types to lines, so you have to fix the error in your style files.
Run mkgmap with the same commands, but replace the input file(s) with option --check-styles.
This should give you hints what you have to fix.

i have just downloaded the latest mkgmap2585 unzipped it

and run it on a small map of the philippines

and it still has the same errors , even with the merge-lines added into the compile code zoom level 17 has the error ?

do i need to add any other codes to the compile code to fix this
