Hi,
I am trying to use a custom TYP file with mkgmap. To learn, I am for now just trying to display toilets. So I did : * a TYP file, available here : http://ati.land.cz/gps/typdecomp/editor.cgi?_h=2678aeac15f92afa813cefcc5bb2b... There is just a definition for toilets, and I use the type 0x4e00 * a style file, availbale here : http://fredericbonifas.free.fr/watsan.zip I just define a rule for amenity=toilets using the type 0x4e00 * Then I run mkgmap with : java -jar mkgmap.jar --family-id=4242 --style-file=resources/styles --style=watsan --gmapsupp bilbao.osm watsan.TYP
I got no error generating the map, and the produced gmapsupp file is : But nothing appears on my GPS (Vista CX)
Am I doing something wrong ?
Use --style-file=resources/styles/watsan (--style=X is just for internal styles, not custom styles). I would also suggest you set the product ID of the TYP file to 1, though that may not be anything to do with it. -- Charlie
