A new update is running with --overlap=50000 and --generate-sea=polygons,extend-sea-sectors,close-gaps=6000. Hopefully the problems will be gone. I do have a report from someone of a strange crash area in northern Tasmania. Where MapSource crashes if you zoom in on a specific spot (I tested different versions), and no routes across that section could be generated (neither in MapSource or on my GPS). I looked at the data in JOSM and couldn't find anything wrong though. Yesterday Mkgmap was updated to the latest version and a new map is being generated. Cross-fingers all is well this time :p On 2010-10-31 01:53, Markus_g wrote:
Hi Adrian,
Thanks for looking at the problem and documenting it. Yes it is the 12-mile territorial waters I was referring to, sorry I didn't make that clear.
I assume other parts of the world may have similar problems. The Australia map I sometimes download from http://garmin.na1400.info/routable.php always shows the problem.
