Works for me (Edge 705) on Finland. Tried bicycle routing to the Pasila and Mikkeli railway stations (22.7 and 253,7 km, respectively). The gmapsupp.img was slightly shrunk (40.6 MiB to 40.2 MiB) by this patch. The route to Mikkeli makes the same stupid detour before Heinola that I reported in the wiki at routing/issues last August. The route to Heinola is fine (114.9 km), and I guess that the route from Heinola to Mikkeli would be fine.
In other words, the patch seems to be fine. I dismiss the detour as a Garminware feature.
Good, glad it's working OK. Yes, the space saving is not huge but it kinda makes up for having to revert back to the larger Table A. FYI - On the GB map data it's removing approx 5-10% of routing nodes. Cheers, Mark
