[mkgmap-dev] A bug tracker for mkgmap?

I've submitted a few issues with mkgmap to the mailing list which as far as I can tell have been lost in the mail flow. Shouldn't mkgmap have a real bug tracker so this doesn't happen? I can bug the relevant people to create an mkgmap component on trac.openstreetmap.org. Is this something the mkgmap maintainers are interested in having? It would certainly help me as a user to see whether the bugs that affect me are being delt with.
