Then when using mkgmap r1907, *it crashed like this*:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException at java.nio.ByteBuffer.allocate(ByteBuffer.java:328) at uk.me.parabola.imgfmt.sys.Directory.sync(Directory.java:176) at uk.me.parabola.imgfmt.sys.ImgFS.sync(ImgFS.java:230)

There was a fix for bug(s) that caused that problem in r1932. Could you try the up to date version from http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/snapshots/ and see if that fixes it. Best wishes ..Steve
