Probably because: - the docs don't mention it - the wiki doesn't mention it - it worked so great without for the last 1.5 years :-)
Well that error shouldn't be an assertion anyway. Assertions are for catching invalid assumptions and bugs, but this is not a bug, it can't be simply fixed, so there should just be a regular message like every other overflow. I will do it. ..Steve
