Hi Ervin,

okay, I was able to reproduce a problem with this node.
The problem is related to the WrongAngleFixer, which did not
copy all properties when a POI node was handled.
I this this did not show up until now because most
barriers are on straight roads.

Please try r3330.

I have done that too but it seems the issue is sporadic. Here is another barrier. Tried to refresh (CTRL+G) twice and still the same

The barrier node is here

Hi Ervin,

I've tested your maps, same result: I am not routed through the barrier.
Please try pressing Ctrl-G two times to clear the cache.

Attached is my test case.
And here is a screen shot:

I'm using Basecamp 4.3.5 and Mapsource 6.16.3

Default routing is for cars (driving) and it has not been changed
Faster Time, Avoid Unpaved roads, avoid Ferries U Turns Narrow Trails Carpool Lanes Date Time closures

The map dated 20140806 has been generated using mkgmap build 3080 and this does not have the issue of routing through barrier with access=no
While the map dated 20140731 has been generated using mkgmap build 3320 with an issue of routing through barriers with access=no
Password for the zip file is the last 9-digit of the file name.

Both were generated using the same style on my github page.

Hi Ervin,

I tried with your style and with the mkgmap default style, but I can't reproduce a problem
at this barrier.  Cars are not routed through it.
Tested with MapSource 6.16.3 and Basecamp 4.3.3
What program are you using? What exactly are your settings reg. routing?

Additionally, osm id of the barrier is http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1083303271 as an example. Although tested that the issue happens on all barriers with access=no.

Hi Ervin,

okay, that is more plausible. Please give a few more details:
Do you see that problem also with the default style?
Is it possible that the barrier is on a tile border?

It happens to all barriers with access=no so more probably it is not because it is on a tile border.

If you download a small area around that barrier, do you see the
same problem?

Still the same

What routing options are you using (bike, car, etc) and
what is the OSM id of the barrier?

Using car routing

If you like, just post a link to your input files and the mkgmap
options so that we can reproduce the problem.

I'm using the style here https://github.com/schadow1/osmphgps . Latest pbf file of the Philippines from geofabrik.

I apologize, I was trying to find the latest released build of mkgmap since March 17 2014 as that was the last version of the map that worked. Just saw that generated that working map with mkgmap 3080. Anything after that have this issue.

Just noticed that the mkgmap build greater than 3113 is allowing routing through barriers with access=no.

I have not changed the style since then except that I upgraded to a new mkgmap build and routing through gates with access=no is possible.
