A follow-up for rendering magenta routing under roads. In order for the routing to appear, I've made a typ file with thinner roads. So far so good but the routing disappears when it passes through a polygon, see here: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3510/3735199958_be9b718947_o.jpg On Thu, Jul 16, 2009 at 8:12 AM, maning sambale<emmanuel.sambale@gmail.com> wrote:

Even without using a custom typ file, nuvis and garmin mobile xt's default road is very thick covering the magenta line. I am using an etrex legend so no problem for me. But many Philippine users have nuvis and garmin mobile xt in ther phones. Is there a way to choose whether routing to above or belwo the road?
Thanks!

Well that is intended behavior, nothing wrong. Mapsource over the road, GPS under the road. You should not make the road to wide in typfile, otherwise it will be difficult to identify. I don't think one can change this (and in case, I would rather have the opposite, namely have the route under the road in Mapsource too)

Hi, I am sending several reports from feedback of other users.
When you view the map, the route going there is placed under the actual road.
