My tiles have one speciality: They are quite small. I have splitted with max-nodes=100000.

I suspect that mdr8/12 should not be included if there is only one entry as it is in your case.

Once I get the chance I will try fixing that, but you might want to see if it helps removing the sections first.

I have removed them from the MdrFile class without any improvement. MapSource still crashes when opening the search dialog. WanMil

I have not noticed any improvement from those sections anyway.
