Do not know whether or not that the same pb, but two or three months ago, when I run splitter and mkgmap to create a gmapsupp.img file, against france.osm data, it took 4 hours to create it. On the same machine, with the same scripts, it takes now 17 hours. My main pb is with splitter as for example, it began to run yesterday at 11pm and end its run today at 11.56am. 13 hours to split, but the machine is really not a big one :-) Francois --
