Hello Arndt,
I also used latin1 in France for the last two weeks and did had device crashes but all obvious being on some roundabouts (which they have
a lot in France). It never crashed besides that.
For both the special characters as also the roundabout issue, it’s hard to imagine that to the ‘region / country’ itself is being the
cause of a crash.
There are county specific settings in the ‘style \include files’ for address and access but I would say there should be another cause.
It would help if you/he/she would share the raw gpx tracks together with the style for investigation of the occurring places.
Kind regards,
Joris

Hi @all,
a user from my maps reported device-crashes in france and supposed that special charakters the root cause are.
I use latin1. Is it better to use another option in france?
best regards
Arndt
